The centerpiece of this brooch is a 98.67 ct Melo pearl, believed to be one of the world's largest.

This 9.12 gram amber composite featured a combination of natural and imitation amber, accompanied by natural and artificial insect inclusions.

In these two extremely rare specimens, demantoid garnet replaced coral and gastropod fossils.
